Here is a beautiful faceted Red Beryl.
This is a unique and interesting one.
It may have started out as a round brilliant,
then re-faceted into this half moon shape, called a Modified Brilliant cut by AGL.
It is faceted on all sides and edges.
It is .31 carats, with dimensions of 5.47 mm x 4.00 mm x 2.69 mm.
The color is a beautiful cherry red and is well saturated.
Most in the Red Beryl in the market are oiled or clarity enhanced,
this gem has no treatment at all.
There are some very slight inclusions in the gemstone, but you must use maginfication to really see them.
It comes with a AGL Gemstone Brief card that was issued in 2018.
These brief cards were used for sellers that did not want to carry around large reports all the time.
I can see this beauty being mounted in a pendant or ring.
This is a smaller, but stunning gemstone of red beryl.
