Out of an old collection, come this beautiful small specimen of this under appreciated mineral.
This Zn-Pb-V mine, is said to have produced the finest specimens of descloizite in the world,
which closed in 1978.
The crystals are shimmering silvery-brown, most with dendritic form.
These sharp, super lustrous, spear-point-shaped crystals are well terminated and have no apparent damage.
Although they look metallic, any brown colored crystals are translucent and can be found mostly at the crystal edges.
