Here is an beautiful large cabinet specimen, of this amazing form of Siderite, not often seen.
It has unusually euhedral rhombohedral crystals of siderite, from micros up to 5 cm.
They are olive green to brownish green in color depending on the lighting.
The Siderite covers a base of clear quartz crystals, and pink crystals of fluorapatite.
This base is thick and filled with fluorapatite, which is easier to see when using a longwave uv light.
Around the sides of the specimen are elongated colorless quartz crystals and pink fluorapatite.
There are a number are complete crystals along the sides, but also many partial crystals.
Overall an impressive specimen not often seen in the market today.
