Here is an amazing set of rough and cut Rhodochrosite from the famous Sweet Home Mine.
The crystal has a very nice rhombohedral form, with a mix of some natural and cleaved faces.
The crystal is quite transparent and gemmy, with beautiful pinkish red coloring. When back lit to see the transparency, it looks more pink in color.
The beautiful faceted gem is eye clean, with a 10x loupe, some slight inclusions can be seen.
In indoor lighting it can look reddish pink, a more salmon coloring, or even a more orangey color.
A fine example for any rough and cut collection.
