Pallasitic Peridot
These are gemstones that are out of this world, literally!
These are gems of Peridot, a variety of Olivine, that forms in the deep reaches of space,
that came to earth inside stony - iron type meteorites called a Pallasite.
(Each come with a G.I.A. Gemstone Reports) The only way to verify that they are not common earth peridot.
These Pallasite meteorites are rare, only 64 are known to have ever been found on earth.
These gems are cut from crystals removed from piece of the Admire Meteorite discovered in Kansas.
Pallasites are the rarest of meteorites, less than 1% of all meteorites are Pallasites,
and even fewer still contain un-shocked (heavily fractured) crystals, that can be faceted.
